Traditional business managment analysis often over looks the diverse and complex nature of organisations. Many internal challenges are hidden in a labyrinthine of obfuscation, by examining the variations in operational, managerial and governance decisions combined with their outcomes, then moving beyond assumptions and decoding how the different elements influence results, provides a full understanding of the total business. This empowers clients to tackle challenges, build stronger processes, and minimise risk for better performance.
The expertise to achieve this comes from a successful 30 year international business development and management career, operating at a senior level within both private and public companies. This career path, which included over a decade working both with and against Wirecard, provided me with a detailed insight into how high-growth companies can progress from hype and promise, through mismanagement, to outright embezzlement and fraud. These perspectives stem from firsthand experience, as I became one of the early dissenting voices against the company, attempting to expose the inconsistencies in its external messaging and internal reality. This led to my support of the Financial Times reporting in 2015 and subsequently as a key contributor to Dan McCrum's 2022 book, Money Men.
